Hannah Ware as Rebecca
Hannah Ware stars as Rebecca Webb, the founder and CEO of The One, who we find has spun lie after lie in the quest to build her billion dollar matchmaking empire. Before The One, Ware starred as Emma Kane in Boss and played roles in Betrayal and The First. Ware's younger sister is Jessie Ware, the British singer-songwriter.
Dimitri Leonidas as James
Leonidas plays Rebecca's friend James, co-founder and developer of the DNA matching science behind The One, who mysteriously left the company behind. The actor previously starred in Riviera alongside Julia Stiles.
Amir El-Masry as Ben
We meet Ben only in flashbacks, as his body is found in the river in the season premiere. Ben was Rebecca and James's friend and roommate from their research days, who seems to have gotten in Rebecca's way in her development of The One. Fans may recognize the BAFTA-nominated El-Masry from his role in Jon Stewart's 2014 political drama Rosewater.
Lois Chimimba as Hannah
Chimimba plays Hannah, who is happily married to Mark until she lets her nagging curiosity about their one true matches get to her. She does the test for Mark and befriends his match Megan. You may recognize the actress from her roles in Doctor Who, A Discovery of Witches, and more.
Zoë Tapper as Kate
Tapper plays Kate, a detective investigating Rebecca's involvement in her friend's death, who uses The One to find her match, Sophia. Tapper previously starred in the British psychological thriller Liar and BBC pandemic sci-fi drama Survivors.
Eric Kofi-Abrefa as Mark
Hannah's loving husband Mark is a journalist covering Rebecca Webb and The One. Unbeknownst to him, Hannah submits Mark's DNA to find his true match, Megan, and Mark gets pulled into Rebecca's dangerous world when she gives him an inside scoop. You may recognize Kofi-Abrefa from his role in Hulu's Harlots.
Pallavi Sharda as Megan
The Australian-Indian actress plays Megan, the one true match for Mark. Hannah's nagging jealousy leads her to find and befriend Megan. Fans may recognize Sharda for her starring roles in many Bollywood films, her role in Lion alongside Dev Patel, and her part in the new Tom and Jerry movie.
Jana Perez as Sophia
The Spanish actress plays Sophia, Kate's match. After many video dates, Sophia comes to visit London to meet Kate, only to get in an accident which reveals she is already married. Perez previously appeared in Cocaine Coast and Holmes & Watson.
Albano Jerónimo as Matheus
The Portuguese actor plays Matheus, the one true match that the system found for Rebecca in the early days before the company took off. Jerónimo is an an award-winning actor with a prolific career and long list of credits in Portuguese theater and television.
