Carrie Underwood says 'it's impossible' to have it 'all together' as a mom

The "Inside Your Heaven" star is embarking on a tour where she will be joined by her whole family including her husband, Mike Fisher.

Being a mom is HARD. Even for superstar Carrie Underwood.

The "Inside Your Heaven" artist opened up to Natalie Morales on the "Today" show about life as a mom of two on tour. She and husband Mike Fisher just welcomed their second son, Jacob Bryan, three months ago.

Now, the whole family is embarking on her Cry Pretty Tour.

In short: She's "tired."

Morales noted that Underwood was setting the bar pretty high for working moms, but the artist disagreed, saying that her life wasn't any harder than anyone else out there.

"Everything that we all do is just as difficult, but in different ways," Underwood said.

But the artist says she's excited to have the opportunity to take her kids to work with her.

"Going out on the road with a 3-month-old... I'm tired," Underwood said. "But I mean, how many people get to take their children to work with them?"

The 36-year-old singer has been candid about her pregnancy struggles, from suffering multiple miscarriages to trying to get back in shape after her second child.

"I feel like moms put a lot of pressure on themselves to have it all together and know everything and plan for everything and you just ... it's impossible," Underwood said.
