The country singer surprised fans at Nashville's Fox & Locke with an impromptu performance.

Carrie Underwood made an unexpected performance at a Nashville bar over the weekend.

The country singer, 39, interrupted her girls night out to jump on stage with Tom Petty cover band The Heartshakers at Fox & Locke bar and venue in Nashville, where they performed the musician's 1981 duet with Stevie Nicks, "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around."

A video of the performance was shared to Fox & Locke's official Instagram account on Sunday, along with the caption, "Last night the one and only @carrieunderwood was here and jumped on stage with @theheartshakers to rock the house with a classic!!

"Like we always say - you never know who will show up here," the caption continued. "Thanks for coming by, Carrie. What an incredible Saturday night!"

Of course, fans in the comments couldn't help but swoon over Underwood's impromptu performance, with one user writing, "That's freaking awesome!! Love the song and she does it so well!!"

Another person chimed in, "So cool to see. We as fans seem to forget sometimes although she's famous, she's still human like the rest of us and just likes to have a good time. Thanks for supporting the music scene."

The "Ghost Story" songstress shared her own Instagram post from the night, which featured Underwood posing alongside some of her gal pals.

"Girl's night! OK, so the guys were there, too, but we were doing our best to pretend they weren't!" she cheekily wrote in the caption. "I am so lucky to be surrounded by so many amazing ladies! ❤️ you guys!!!"

Following the June release of her newest album, Denim & Rhinestones, Underwood's fans are currently getting ready for the Denim & Rhinestones Tour, which is scheduled to kick off this fall.
