Carrie Johnson, neé Symonds, is the wife of the UK’s ex-prime minister before Liz Truss: Boris Johnson.

The 34-year-old PR executive married Boris, 58, during a small ceremony in Westminster in July 2021. The couple have two children together: Wilfred, two, and Romy, nine months.

For her first public appearance, Carrie wore a £120 Ghost dress which sold out in mere moments, a sign of her sartorial influence to come.

Her career has spanned politics, media and conservation, of course being thrust into the spotlight while married to the leader of the country during the COVID-19 pandemic.
