One of the best moments from the Houston Astros’ post-World Series celebration was shortstop Carlos Correa’s surprise proposal to his girlfriend, Daniella Rodriguez. It was romantic, touching and a perfect way for Correa to cap off such an amazing season.

Correa went on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” on Monday to chat about the Astros winning the World Series, but talk almost immediately turned to his on-air proposal. Daniella, who was in the audience, even joined in.

And Daniella knows what everyone’s favorite part of the proposal was: when she yanked that metal partition out of the way so she could plant a kiss on her new fiancé.

It’s all so lovely, and you might wonder how anyone could be unhappy about it. But there is one young fan who isn’t so thrilled that Correa is off the market for good.

You can’t help but feel for that little girl, who is experiencing her very first heartbreak. Carlos Correa means the world to her, and she doesn’t quite understand that she can still love him as a fan even though he’s engaged.

The most poignant part of this video is that you can tell that this isn’t her first cry about it. She talks about Correa’s engagement like it’s old news, but she’s still completely forlorn as she cries into someone’s arm.

Almost every little girl and boy has their first crush, and their first heartbreak inevitably follows. But we all know she’ll get over it. As her auntie said on the video, they’ll get through it together. And maybe even with the help of Correa himself! After someone tipped him to the existence of the video, Correa tweeted a message.

The two of them just have to meet. The universe clearly wants it to happen! Plus, Carlos and Daniella will definitely need a flower girl for their upcoming wedding.
