No one is as much of a style and beauty chameleon as Cardi B. The rap superstar effortlessly switches between world-class couture to the coolest street-style slays. However, just as often as she changes up her style, she's also changed her hair. Most recently, she went extreme copper, brought dip-dye back, and tried out the ultra-trendy cherry cola color. Her latest hair aventure? The coolest Y2K blunt bangs.

On October 24, Cardi B posted a photo dump to her Instagram with her sister Hennessy. In the photos, which were captioned "Bronx Finest," we got a peak at their coordinating Y2K street style looks, as well as the rapper's brand-new hair.

Cardi's new mane was jet black and traveled just below her chest, save for a pair of perfectly blunt bangs. The same jet black color as the rest of her hair, her bangs reached just to her eyebrows, and covered the majority of her forehead. While she posed, they spread apart in the center, forming a subtle face-framing accent.

2023 has been quite the year for bangs. In just the past few months, everyone from Rihanna to Megan Fox and Lady Gaga have worn some iteration of the classic hairstyle. Though there are a plethora of different reasons why different styles of bangs are trending, Cardi's blunt bangs trace back to the resurgence of all things Y2K.

The rest of Cardi's glam was also gorgeous. Her skin was matte with bright undereyes, and the slightest touch of blush. Her lips were lined with a dark matte pink, and topped with a lighter, glossy pigment. Her eyes were lined on both the upper and lower waterlines, and were finished off with long, wispy lashes and a small cat eye.

The outfit is what really sold the Y2K dream. Both sisters wore dark wash blue jeans tucked into tan Timberland boots, which were held up by bedazzled belts. They wore white crop tops, though Hennessey's was smaller than Cardi's. The only real difference between the two looks was the color of their jackets: tomato for Cardi and lavender for Hennessey. Big gold bamboo hoops finished off Cardi's look, and a giant Hello Kitty chain finished off her sister's.
