Cardi B Wore Silver Hair and Sunset-Colored Makeup

Cardi B has had so many different colors in her hair — from blonde to blue to unicorn — that we thought she has truly tried everything. But on Tuesday night, she shocked us with something totally unexpected when she hit the red carpet with silver strands.

The rapper matched her lustrous, waist-length extensions to her silver jumpsuit, and added another element of wow-worthy beauty to her glam by way of sunset eyes. Her lids were painted a gradient of pink and orange — accessorized with extra long lashes, natch — that looked just like the night sky at twilight. Always one for details, Cardi finished off the look with a silver manicure.

To say that Cardi B is a lesson in experimental beauty is an understatement; she's a full-on inspiration. Seriously: Every time she makes an appearance, it has me wondering whether I should dye my hair an extreme color, cover my nails in rhinestones, or test out a bright, unexpected makeup shade. In the past month alone, she's worn diamonds in her hair and debuted a bleach blonde bowl cut.

Despite her adoration for extreme glam, Cardi believes that the true definition of "beautiful" is about feeling good in your own skin. "I think beautiful is like looking like you take care of yourself," she told Elle earlier this year. "I feel beautiful without makeup on, but when I do put makeup on, it just gives me this extra pop."

Extra pop — with a dash of out-of-this-world silver — indeed.
