Cardi B Wore Diamonds in Her Hair, and Now I Want Diamonds in My Hair
Cardi B's new single "Money" is all about, as she says, big, fat checks and big, large bills. And what do you do when you have those things at your disposal? You spend them on diamond-encrusted hair, obviously.
Cardi is definitely no Neutral Nancy when it comes to her hair. She celebrated Pride with rainbow hair and is often seen matching her wigs — to her suits, to her manicures, the list goes on. But when the theme is money, there's really only one way to go: opulence. And for Cardi, that means diamonds.
Makeup artist Pat McGrath shared a preview of the rapper in full glam. In addition to a diamond-encrusted eye look courtesy of McGrath's Mothership V: Bronze Seduction Palette, Cardi's hair was bedazzled with (what we can only hope are real) diamonds. Her blonde, Marilyn Monroe-esque hair was done up with pristine Old Hollywood waves. But the diamonds, placed to follow the swirly pattern of her hair, are what bring the look into 2018.
We're still waiting on the full video drop, so for now, all we have is this preview of Cardi and her frosted look. Let's hope this comes out soon enough for us to make a last-minute Halloween look.
