Cardi B. Says She ‘Can’t Be Sexy in Peace’ After Daughter Kulture Crashes Her Thirst-Trap Video

Frankly, one of the few charming silver linings of the pandemic has been videos of children crashing their parents' work-from-home setups, and Cardi B just experienced this firsthand.
Of course, when you're Cardi B, being sexy on Instagram counts both as personal time and as working from home. The “WAP” rapper was trying to get a minute to herself to film some thirst traps for Instagram when her daughter, Kulture, softly demanded her attention.
In a short clip, posted on November 20, Cardi can be seen posing for the camera, a plunging corset top accentuating her cleavage, her green nails matching her eye shadow and her hair. Add the lightly tinted glasses and you've got a full look. But just a few seconds in, you can hear the pitter-patter of socked feet running toward her.
Cardi then looks off to the side as Kulture calls out, in the cutest voice you've ever heard, “Mommy?” Before you know it, Kulture's popping into frame, and Cardi's turning the recording off. She captioned the video “I can’t even be sexy In peace 🤦🏽♀.”
Kulture, two, whom Cardi shares with her on-again, off-again partner Offset, is no stranger to the ’Gram. Her mom created her own account in September, where the toddler poses in outfits that cost more than your rent.
Though Kulture clearly foiled Cardi's Instagram plans, it's not like Kulture hasn't had her share of frustrations with her mom…at least, according to the child's Instagram account that Cardi B seems to run. “Mommy was annoying me but it's ok cause I look cute,” she captioned one adorable video. What goes around comes around!
Despite her lack of privacy, Cardi B has been on a hot streak, professionally. “WAP” is a hit, which led to her winning the Billboard Woman of the Year award. She's also created a shoe line with Reebok and even spoke with President-Elect Joe Biden on the virtual campaign trail. Now, if only she could get a few uninterrupted minutes alone to make her videos!
