Cardi B and Offset have never shied away from showcasing their relationship, musically or on the red carpet. But at the 2020 Grammys, the rap royalty skipped the red carpet in favor of a low-key appearance in the audience. She wore a glittery, jewel-encrusted gown, while he opted for a leather vest and pants.

Despite the public outing, it's a relatively quiet Grammys for the pair. The couple is nominated in one category, for Best Rap Performance for their song "Clout." Barring any surprise appearances, neither will perform during the telecast.

It's a change of pace from last year's Grammys, where Cardi was nominated for a total of seven awards, including Album of the Year, Record of the Year for "I Like It," and Best Rap Performance for "Be Careful." She ended up winning Best Rap Album for Invasion of Privacy and delivering a breakout performance of "Money."

It was also a major moment for Cardi and Offset as a couple. The newly-reconciled pair made the 2019 Grammys their first red carpet outing since their breakup two months earlier. When Cardi won her first Grammy, Offset even accompanied her onstage where she thanked him and and their daughter Kulture for their support. Now the parents seem stronger than ever and poised to conquer another awards cycle in the spotlight.
