As parents, it’s hard to get into the shows that our kids become obsessed with. They’re a little annoying, always predictable, and sometimes the theme song gets stuck in our head, and we can’t set ourselves free. For the most part, these shows are educational for our kids; they offer a break for us. But other times, they become a legitimate problem. Just ask Cardi B.
Cardi B is a mama to 2-year-old Kulture, who she shares with her husband Offset. Although she’s one of the world’s biggest stars and has more fame than most of us will ever experience, parenting is parenting, wealthy or not.
According to Cardi, her daughter has been really into Peppa Pig lately ― the TV show that follows a family of British pigs. It’s perfect for kids of Kulture’s age because Peppa herself is a preschooler full of energy, eager to learn, and finds excitement in everyday things with her friends and family.
Peppa also has some bad habits. She can be pretty sassy. She hates to lose at anything. Oh, and she’s obsessed with jumping into muddy puddles. She always has on her yellow boots, and sometimes her family joins her in a muddy puddle jump, too. But they’re pigs.
And that’s the starting point of why Peppa is on Cardi’s nerves. The 28-year-old took to Twitter, so share her disappointment with Peppa Pig. “My baby been watching peppa pig 🐷 and now Everytime she sees a wetpuddle she wants to stomp on top of it 😒😒,” she tweeted.
“That sh*t gets me so tight ! F**kin up her uggs……Deum you peppa pig …COUNT YOUR F*CKIN DAYS!🤬” she added.

Cardi calling out Peppa is the most relatable parenting moment ever. There have been so many of us who have had to waste our Saturday mornings scrubbing mud off our kids’ sneakers because they jumped in a puddle. We’ve needed to have many conversations with our kids about why we can’t just drop our best friends when they do something that upsets us or hang up on them and why it’s not nice to make fun of other people (sorry, Daddy Pig).
