Cara Delevingne Rocked a Stuffed Monkey as a Face Accessory
Model and actress Cara Delevingne is always one to slay the fashion game. Whether it’s strutting down the runway in a designer Balmain suit or heading out for a night on the town, her style is constantly changing. She's not afraid of trying something new, whether it be short, neon pink hair for the Met Gala or a break from royal dress code for Princess Eugenie's wedding. Her ever-evolving wardrobe makes a her certified fashion icon, and the icon just got a little more iconic.
On Friday, October 19, Just Jared Jr. reported that Cara was spotted stepping out in New York City wearing a stuffed monkey as a face accessory. Yes, seriously. The neon pink monkey clung onto her head, protecting her from paparazzi who tried grabbing a pic of her and reported girlfriend Ashley Benson.
Cara’s serving us Curious George, but make it fashion; She’s serving us Halloween-come-early, and we're in love with the look. Based on the reaction from social media, others are inspired, too. Some fans even took to Instagram to repost the image, one of them captioning it with “That’s why I love Cara.” Another user wrote, “Cara with the monkey over her face has me crying.” And a third fan captioned the picture by writing, “Moooooooooood.” Others on social media were also quick to notice that in some of the pictures, Ashley couldn’t help but laugh at the sight of Cara walking out to shock the paparazzi. Same.
Stuffed animals certainly weren't one of the predicted runway trends for 2018, but the look may have finally given a use for all of the extra Beanie Babies we have hiding in a box somewhere.
