Cara Delevingne Now the Face of DKNY Menswear

Cara Delevingne is the hottest model in the world right now. Her career only began five short years ago, and she’s already become the face for Fendi, Chanel, Topshop, and John Hardy (not to mention 2014’s British Model of the Year). She’s also fronted DKNY’s womenswear line since 2013, and now Delevingne has another feather in her cap with a starring role in the brand’s menswear campaign. Why is this significant? Well if you think about it, women in menswear campaigns are nothing new, but they are usually relegated to playing a sex object as opposed to posing as “one of the guys.”

This was not the case for Delevingne, who is stridently posing under the Manhattan Bridge with three male models. The quartet is wearing slim-fitting suits with button-down shirts and skinny ties in various shades of black and gray. Delevingne’s loose hair is really the only thing that separates her from the rest of the pack. We not only applaud the ad, but also the look: menswear-inspired fashion for women has been a reoccurring trend as of late so it is befitting that a top model like Delevingne be the one to bring it to the forefront.
