From Seventeen

Ever since Taylor Swift took to Tumblr on Sunday morning to share the news that Justin Bieber's manager, Scooter Braun, bought the rights to her songs and albums, the music industry has pretty much exploded. Everyone from musicians to models are taking to Twitter and Instagram to share their opinion on the news and the ensuing drama. Can't keep up with what side everyone is on? Here's a break down of who's on #TeamScooter and #TeamTaylor.

Team Taylor

Let's start with Team Taylor, because a lot of people quickly jumped to the singer's side since Taylor broke the news, and they're all sharing their feelings on social media.

Cara Delevingne

Cara's support for Taylor came in the form of an Instagram comment, when she criticized Hailey Baldwin and Justin Bieber's defense of Scooter Braun.

"Gentleman?" she wrote. "@Haileybaldwin @justinbieber you must be bored. I wish you spent less time sticking up for men and more time trying to understand women and respecting their valid reactions. As a married man, you should be lifting women up instead of tearing them down because you are threatened. I am not sure you actually understand what an apology is. The issue that @taylorswift is talking about is far more than a picture and you know that. As you said, you haven't spoken to her in years which means you definitely don't understand the situation. I do. Take a step back and learn from this. We should all be on the same team. End of story."

Halsey

Halsey took to Twitter to support Taylor, writing, "Taylor is a huge reason why I always insisted to write my own music. I believed if she did it (in a way that made my teeth ache like cold water and my heart swell and my eyes leak) than I should too...She deserves to own the painstaking labor of her heart...And it turns my guts that no matter how much power or success a woman has in this life, you are still susceptible to someone coming along and making your feel powerless out of spite. It speaks volumes to how far we have to come in the music industry. The way writers are treated. How as an entertainer you are respected but as a writer you're walked all over. When you are both in one single body. I am standing with her."

Todrick Hall

Taylor's friend and co-executive producer of her latest music video for "You Need to Calm Down," of course ran to his bestie's side. He even revealed that he was previously managed by Scooter.

"I am saddened by this news, but not shocked" he wrote on Twitter. "[Scooter] is an evil person whose only concern is his wealth and feeding his disgusting ego. I believe he is homophobic and I know from his own mouth that he is not a Swift fan."

Todrick even revealed he wrote a song about Scooter, in which Jospeh Gordon-Levitt seems to play the music industry bigwig.

Todrick continued saying that he is sure Scooter will threaten him to stay quiet "like he has before," but it wouldn't be as bad as "the 6 years of my life I can’t get back from when...I was ignored as your 'artist.'"

Katy Perry

Taylor's former enemy hasn't said anything about the feud on her social media accounts, but she did sign a change.org petition to help Taylor re-release her first six albums, currently owned by Big Machine records and soon to be owned by Scooter. She wrote a message with her signature, "I stand with Taylor. Stay strong my friend."

Alessia Cara

Alessia Cara posted an Instagram story that said, "Hey!!!!! Stop stealing from women who work hard!!!" Though she later deleted the post.

Haim

Haim, who have performed with Taylor in the past and are known to be good friends with the singer, posted a picture of Taylor's original Tumblr post on their Instagram story with the caption, "Read this. We support you @taylorswift. This is the dark sh*t in our industry that no one sees."

Iggy Azalea

The rapper tweeted in response to the news about the Big Machine deal, writing that even if Taylor knew about the deal a few days before (which Taylor is claiming isn't even true), that wouldn't have been enough time for her to do anything about it.

"Telling someone about a deal days before it’s public means the deal was already done & she never had the opportunity to even make a bid to own her own work. These deals take months to negotiate in long form."

Mandy Teefey

While Selena Gomez hasn't voiced her opinion on everything that has gone down (though she reportedly unfollowed Scooter on social media), her mom, Mandy did take to Instagram to share her thoughts.

She posted the end of Taylor's Tumblr post and wrote in the caption, "@Taylorswift I wish I could give you a big hug right now! Thank you for speaking out about this and teaching future young artists about protecting themselves. I don't understand the pleasure of power plays to simply hurt people! To deny you the option to own your blood, sweat and tears, especially as a young women who shared growing up in front of the world, is heartbreaking!!" Mandy even tagged Scooter Braun's wife at the end, saying she wants to talk. "@yael I would love to have a mom to mom meeting in private, drink some tea and have some real talk!! XO"

Not to mention, apparently Nicki Minaj, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Rihanna, Adele, and many more artists have unfollowed Scooter on social media.

Team Scooter

Of course, it's not like Scooter doesn't have anyone on his side. I mean, there is his list of rockstar clients, many of whom have spoken out for him.

Demi Lovato

Demi actually signed with Scooter about a month ago, so it isn't surprising that she jumped to Scooter's defense when the world started badmouthing him. "I have dealt with bad people in this industry and Scooter is not one of them," she wrote on Instagram stories. "He's a good man. Personally, I'm grateful he came into my life when he did. Please stop 'dragging' people or bullying them. There's enough hate in this world as it is."

Demi also responded to Todrick Hall's claims that Scooter is homophobic. "Hey boo, idk you or anything and this isn't hate, but making claims that someone is homophobic is really serious. Please don't spread information that isn't true because I can guarantee Scooter isn't. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community myself he wouldn't have signed me if he was. No hate just trying to clear things up ✌🏻."

Todrick responded to Demi on Twitter saying that he's a huge fan of hers, but defended his comments. "Just because you have a black friend doesn't mean you can't still be racist. And just because you're not picketing against gay marriage doesn't mean you're not homophobic. I said what I said and I believe what I believe."

Justin Bieber

It's unsurprising that Justin quickly jumped into the feud to defend Scooter, considering Scooter discovered Justin and helped skyrocket him into stardom. The singer posted an old pic with Taylor on Instagram with a very long caption where he apologizes for posting a mean Instagram post way back when and then tries to shed some light on Scooter's character.

Hey Taylor. First of all i would like to apologize for posting that hurtful instagram post, at the time i thought it was funny but looking back it was distasteful and insensitive.. I have to be honest though it was my caption and post that I screenshoted of scooter and Kanye that said “taylor swift what up” he didnt have anything to do with it and it wasnt even a part of the conversation in all actuality he was the person who told me not to joke like that.. Scooter has had your back since the days you graciously let me open up for you.! As the years have passed we haven’t crossed paths and gotten to communicate our differences, hurts or frustrations. So for you to take it to social media and get people to hate on scooter isn’t fair. What were you trying to accomplish by posting that blog? seems to me like it was to get sympathy u also knew that in posting that your fans would go and bully scooter. Anyway, One thing i know is both scooter and i love you. I feel like the only way to resolve conflict is through communication. So banter back and fourth online i dont believe solves anything. I’m sure Scooter and i would love to talk to you and resolve any conflict, pain or or any feelings that need to be addressed. Neither scooter or i have anything negative to say about you we truly want the best for you. I usually don’t rebuttal things like this but when you try and deface someone i loves character thats crossing a line..

Hailey Baldwin

While Hailey didn't have too much to say about the feud, she did support her husband's post by simply commenting, "gentleman," which of course led to Cara's comment (see above).

Ariana Grande

Ariana Grande hasn't officially taken sides in the feud, but she did post a Instagram story congratulating her manager on his purchase of Big Machine records, though she deleted the post shortly after the drama began.
