Nursing an ankle injury and a week of tough defensive matchups, Jimmy Butler managers should temper their expectations, while Tyler Herro and the rest of the Heat should see increased opportunities.
STEVE ALEXANDER: Jimmy Butler and the one and one Miami Heat are in for a brutal week schedule-wise this week. They've got a doubleheader against the Milwaukee Bucks, and Giannis, and Khris Middleton, great defenders. They finished the week with Dallas, who just lit up the LA Clippers, 77 to 27 by halftime. Luka and Tim Hardaway, Jr are good defenders.
Jimmy Butler, to add insult to injury, literally, has a sprained right ankle. He's coming into Tuesday's game doubtful. That's going to leave him questionable for Wednesday. Now, Butler is averaging 11 and 1/2 points, 4 and 1/2 boards, six assists and four steals this season.
The points aren't that great, but the steals and the rest of it is key to the Miami Heat and Fantasy owners. So, if Butler can't play on Wednesday, the Heat could be in trouble. The Heat could be in trouble anyway with such a tough schedule.
Tyler Herro, Duncan Robinson, and Goran Dragic would all benefit if Butler misses Wednesday's game or others. Fantasy owners have a tough decision to make before getting Jimmy Butler into your lineup this week.
