ICYMI: earlier this week, she shared a post about how she hasn't eaten fast food, with the exception of In-N-Out, in decades.

"Some days I wonder what a burger and fries from McDonald's or Burger King or Wendy's or any of those other places I've never eaten at is like. Am I going to find out? No," Candace wrote.

"I don't regret it and you can't convince me otherwise," she continued.

In response to the post, the internet did what it does best and found this pic of Candace and her son with Chick-Fil-A in 2012:

But Candace says she wasn't lying!

Speaking to Insider, her representative said any claim stating otherwise is "untrue" and "ridiculous." "Candace told me that she drove her son to get food at Chick-fil-A and she only ordered an iced tea for herself," the rep stated, referring to the pic. "Candace is only holding a cup."

It does make sense — but also, even if it's not true, In-N-Out is still fast food, so I'm not sure why this was even a post in the first place. Like, it was just a very weird flex all around.
