Candace Cameron Bure Posted a Sweet Tribute to Her Husband Val for Their Anniversary

Candace Cameron Bure and her husband, Val Bure, have reached an incredible milestone in their relationship — 25 years of marriage and counting.
In honor of their wedding anniversary, the Fuller House actress shared a few words of advice for having a happy and long-lasting union. “June 22nd we celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary 🥂!! 25 years🙌🏼!! 🙏🏻,” Candace captioned a collection of Instagram photos. “I’m often asked for marriage advice. What’s the secret? Lord knows I will never write a book about it because we are still learning every year, every day.”
The 45-year-old mother of three credited grace, communication, sex, patience and laughter as reasons why her marriage to the former professional hockey player has endured a quarter of a century.
“Love (a verb. which must be put into action, it’s not just a feeling.),” she added. “No marriage is picture perfect. Not one. And certainly not ours. But through thick and thin, ups and downs, God has blessed us tremendously with guidance and perseverance. I believe God is the secret sauce 😉. I have more love for this man today than the day we married each other 🙌🏼❤️And I know he does for me ❤️❤️. Praise the Lord 🙌🏼.”
Although Candace shared the sweet photos on Instagram a few days after she and Val toasted their silver anniversary, her celebrity friends still joined in on the festivities in the comments section. “Happy Anniversary! ❤️,” fellow Hallmark star Lacey Chabert wrote. “So happy for you guys!! Congrats on 25 years!! 😍😍😍,” actress Danica McKellar said. “❤️❤️,” Candace’s Full House dad, Bob Saget, added.
Fans also showered the couple with heartwarming and congratulatory messages. “Happy Anniversary to one of my fav couples. ❤️❤️,” one person wrote. “Your relationship is so inspiring! Congratulations 🥂💕,” another added. “Sending love and wishes for 100 more years!” a different fan said. “I adore you two! ❤️ 🙌,” a follower commented.
The following day, Candace posted a short video of them talking about marriage while sitting by the sea.
The two first met back in the mid '90s at a charity hockey game when Candace and the rest of the Full House cast went to watch actor Dave Coulier play. After the event, Dave introduced Candace to Val, who he had also just met. Two years later, the lovebirds walked down the aisle on June 22, 1996.
And what an adventure it’s been ever since!
