Camila Cabello is all set to star in the latest remake of Cinderella. Yesterday she posted a pic to her Instagram with fellow cast members Luke Latchman, Tallulah Greive, Nicholas Galitzine and Fra Fee.
This will be Camila's film debut and she's already found her Prince Charming in Nicholas. (Maybe Shawn Mendes couldn't make the audition?) It hasn't been confirmed what roles Luke and Tallulah will be playing, but we do know that Billy Porter will be playing the Fairy Godmother because, of course.
Camila has more than one role in this film. She's also been working on new music for it. New music = new music videos and she's already started working on those, too.
In an Instagram post earlier this month, she posted a behind the scenes shot of herself for a music video she says is coming out soon. "I’m in London right now working on Cinderella and I’m having the time of my life TBH," the post said. "Here’s a picture behind the scenes of a music video that’s coming out very very soon..."
Carpool Karaoke's James Corden will be producing and he even came up with the idea for the film. Entertainment Tonight says that the remake will be a musical comedy and Cinderella will be "an ambitious young woman whose dreams are bigger than the world will allow."
Sony Pictures announced that the movie is set to be released on February 5, 2021.
