Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie may just be our favorite pair of famous sisters-in-law who we often forget are sisters-in-law.

Richie, of course, has been married to Good Charlotte's Joel Madden since 2010, and Diaz and Joel's twin brother, Benji, said “I do” in January 2015. Honestly, this entire foursome sounds like a pretty good hang.

Diaz and Richie are really close friends, but it's not often they speak about each other in public. But during a recent appearance on the podcast Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino, Diaz revealed a highly relatable detail about her sis-in-law.

During the episode, Pellegrino playfully asked which Simpson sister—Jessica or Ashlee—Diaz would pick, and she revealed that “as recently as last night,” Richie had been watching old episodes of Newlyweds.

Wait, why haven't we thought of revisiting that classic reality show to remind us of simpler times?! We could all use a little “Is this chicken or is this fish?” refresher.

Diaz also let the world in on her own reality-show fave. “Drag Race saved my life. I found it at a time when I felt overwhelmed by the world, [asking myself], ‘What are people doing? How do people get through this?’” she said, per Us Weekly. “I found it when I was flying home and I was with a girlfriend whose father had recently passed in Florida. This was a year ago exactly. I watched three episodes on the plane. I was just laughing out loud…. I went home and started watching from season one. It’s everything! From season one, it’s so good. The fearlessness. These women are their truest form. They’re not making any apologies.”

Now we just want to drink wine and watch TV with Cameron Diaz and Nicole Richie. Maybe a few episodes of The Simple Life? What a thrill that would be.
