Yet another update in the whole Kate Midleton and Prince William moving saga. The royal couple are reportedly looking to relocate closer to the Queen in Windsor, but their previous plans to move into recently refurbished Adelaide Cottage (just a 10-minute walk from Her Majesty) have seemingly been canceled.

Instead, The Sunday Times reports that the Cambridges will likely be moving into "The Big House" on Windsor Estate since Prince Charles won't be using it as much when he's King. Meanwhile, the couple will keep their apartments in Kensington Palace, and will also use Anmer Hall (their Norfolk home) regularly.

“They absolutely love it up there, it’s their happy place,” a source who's a friend of William's told the outlet, adding that Wills and Kate will move back to Anmer “after the school years.”

“The reality is they are quite confined in what they can do in London,” another friend said. “The kids can’t go into the park and kick a football with friends. Their plan is to be there for the next 10 to 15 years, then move to Anmer, which is so special to them.”

This pivot to "The Big House" comes amid some slight drama over Adelaide Cottage with Princess Eugenie. The Daily Mail previously reported that sources “close to the Yorks” said she “had been trying to secure Adelaide Cottage for a while for when she moves out of Frogmore” and “before Andrew’s most recent scandal, it was definitely a property he was [also] trying to secure for his daughter.”

The publication noted that “there is no doubt” that the Cambridges would get first choice in the matter, but it looks like they've moved onto bigger and fancier houses, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
