Cam Reddish hits clutch 3 with under a second left to lift Duke over Florida State
The Duke Blue Devils needed someone to come up big if they wanted to take down the Florida State Seminoles on Saturday. Freshman Cam Reddish was up to the task.
With Duke trailing by a point, Reddish drained a clutch 3-pointer with 0.8 seconds left to give the Blue Devils the 80-78 win.

Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski liked what he saw.

Reddish wasn’t the only player to come up with a big shot in the last two minutes of the game. The Seminoles received huge free throws from sophomore Mfiondu Kabengele to tie the game with 2:01 left. Senior PJ Savoy then hit two free throws to put Florida State ahead with 15 seconds to go. Those free throws were forgotten after Reddish struck, but all four were crucial to Florida State making it a close game.
The win was big for Duke in multiple ways. The team not only came up big in a tight game, but also stuck it to UNC fans who saw their team get blown out and then taken off ESPN in favor of the Blue Devils.
Duke’s schedule won’t get much easier moving forward. The team will take on Syracuse on Monday, but will then face No. 4 Virginia on Saturday.
