Eat In My Kitchen. If what we’ll be eating is the cake above, then yes! We will!

Really, Eat In My Kitchen is the name of Berlin-based blogger Meike Peters’ online collection of recipes inspired by life in Germany and summers spent in Malta.

“I love simple teatime treats that you can eat with your fingers,” she writes.

That’s exactly what this cake is: traditional English sponge cake, lightened and brightened by tangerine juice. Peters tops it with thin slices of caramelized citrus. And yes, she eats it with her hands, even if it gets a little sticky. Get the recipe on Eat In My Kitchen. And by fall 2016, you’ll be able to get some of her recipes in hard copy: Peters just announced an upcoming book deal with Prestel Publishing.
