Brand founder and CEO Scott announced on Instagram that she’d be temporarily closing her retail locations to protect her employees and shoppers. But while keeping her online site running, she said she wanted to support local communities. Now, Kendra Scott is donating 50% of the bracelet’s proceeds, and she’s also donating 500,000 meals that will go directly to children across the country.

Feeding America is working with local food banks across the country by establishing the $2.65 million fund. The fund will “enable food banks to secure the resources they need to serve the most vulnerable members of the community during this difficult time.”
