If you buy this Kendra Scott friendship bracelet, 50% of proceeds go to food banks across America

If you’re looking for a way to treat your bestie while you’re practicing social distancing, you can do that while giving back to those in need amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Jewelry brand Kendra Scott is donating 50% of the proceeds from its Everlyne Friendship Bracelet directly to Feeding America’s COVID-19 Response Fund. We can’t think of a better reason to shop for the special people in your life right now.

Brand founder and CEO Scott announced on Instagram that she’d be temporarily closing her retail locations to protect her employees and shoppers. But while keeping her online site running, she said she wanted to support local communities. Now, Kendra Scott is donating 50% of the bracelet’s proceeds, and she’s also donating 500,000 meals that will go directly to children across the country.

Feeding America is working with local food banks across the country by establishing the $2.65 million fund. The fund will “enable food banks to secure the resources they need to serve the most vulnerable members of the community during this difficult time.”

Seems like buying this friendship bracelet is a win-win. So, if you want, grab one for your BFF, too.

The bracelet comes in six colorways and gem versions: rose quartz, ivory mother of pearl, abalone shell, bronzed veined turquoise, dichroic glass, and multicolor mix. And each 14-carat gold bracelet has a braided cord, medallion accent, and two tassels. They’re perfect for stacking or wearing alone.
