Nail-art lovers know that as long as you keep your eyes open, you'll never run out of inspiration for creative and beautiful manicures. And it always helps when you have a nail artist you trust to bring your vision to life, like Busy Philipps does. The actor's latest manicure suggests she was feeling cozy and sentimental when she turned to Aki Hirayama for her latest look on Sunday, and the results aren't just beautiful, they're downright heartwarming.

Philipps shared a video to her Instagram story on Sunday in which she looked at her nails for the time after Hirayama completed her manicure. (How she didn't peek the entire time, we do not know.) Philipps is instantly in awe of what she sees: an intricately detailed, crochet-inspired pattern based on a blanket made by Philipps's late grandmother.

"Oh my god, are you kidding?" she says, her eyes looking emotional. (She's wearing a mask, as is smart and safe when getting a cosmetic treatment these days.) "I love them!"

Philipps then shared a few closeups of the meaningful manicure, modeled atop the beloved blanket. "Tonight, @akinailsnyc made my nail art dreams come true by hand painting the pattern of the crocheted blanket my Grandma Moot made and anyway- can you believe this talent?!" Philipps wrote in the caption. "I can only imagine what Moot would have said about my nails!!!! (She would have gotten a kick out of them I'M SURE)."

Hirayama tells Allure that, over the course of two hours, she mimicked the blanket's beautiful blue base and hand-painted the colorful shapes with 10 different shades from Riccagel. The manicure's resemblance is absolutely stunning, and we wouldn't blame Philipps if she used the new nails to grab a tissue or two.
