Botetourt native, Matt Walters, the owner and operator of Bubbas’s 33, says after years of planning, he is excited to open the location on Valley View Blvd. He says it has been good to have support from both Valley View and the city as he worked to open the restaurant.

“Right now, we’re focused on systems and consistency, and identifying who our leaders are… that we can build around and build that team. We want to show this community how great we are, but we have to do it 14 shifts a week,” he added.

Roanoke joined the list with two Chesapeake locations making it the third Bubba’s 33 to open in Virginia.
