BTS Wore Matching Tuxedos at the 2019 Grammy Awards

From teal to silver, the K-Pop group lit up the red carpet.

After much anticipation, South Korean boy band BTS officially arrived on the Grammy Awards red carpet and — as expected — they did not disappoint. Tonight was a big one for the group: They were nominated for their first Grammy Award for Best Recording Packaging. Their album, Love Yourself: Tear, was filled with bops, so really it’s no surprise that they garnered the nom. But of course, what would an award show be without some killer style — of which BTS has plenty to offer.

BTS has always #ShownUp when it comes to red carpet fashion (and don’t get us started on their music video lewks). So tonight, the BTS army expected them to shine and they surely did. All seven members of the group matched their outfits tonight, each donning well-fitted black tuxedos from Korean designers JayBaek Couture and Kim Seo Ryong. With some opting for bow ties, and others going sans tie, each member of the K-Pop group looked absolutely cohesive and fresh. But naturally, each singer needed a little personal flare, which they opted to show through their hair color.

V showed up with pastel teal locks while Jimin rocked a pink look. Always one to embrace a bold color, RM slayed in a silver hue. As for Suga, Jungkook, Jin, and J-Hope, they opted for brown and blonde looks — a little more relaxed than the others but still eye-catching all the same.

Needless to say, BTS’s stylish appearance left fans shooketh. The BTS Army couldn’t be more excited to see them on the red carpet — and to be at the Grammys in the first place. One fan wrote, “You look so pretty...have an amazing time and I’m so proud of you,” while another said on Twitter: “They deserve it. Their happiness is my happiness.”

Ultimately, BTS didn’t win at the Grammys, but that hasn’t stopped the group — or their fans — from believing in their musical magic. Their nomination alone was a big deal, as it was the first Grammy nom for any K-Pop band. It’s only a matter of time until they’re winning every award possible, and that’s the tea.
