Bryce Hall and Thomas Petrou seemingly used to be friends.
Recently, though, they had a falling out that almost ended in a boxing match.
Now, Bryce is calling Thomas, and the rest of the Hype House, "stupid" on his new podcast.
It's been almost two months since Bryce Hall expressed interest in boxing the Hype House cofounder, Thomas Petrou, and it seems like the former friends still haven't resolved things. On the first episode of his new podcast, Capital University, Bryce completely called out Thomas and the rest of the Hype House, saying the way they spend their money is "stupid."
On Capital University, Bryce is partnering with entrepreneur Anthony Pompliano to discuss the influencer industry and look at how social media stars make their money. "They don't have a steady source on income," Bryce explained, speaking from seven years of experience. "They only have brand deals and then they have their YouTube AdSense checks and then merch. That's for the average influencer, that's how they're making money."
As an example, Bryce used the Hype House, which he described as the "rival house" to Sway House. Recently, Bryce hasn't been on the greatest terms with the members of the Hype House, and was even publicly feuding with Thomas back in August. Possibly because of this, Bryce had no problem exposing what he assumed to be Thomas' income.
"He makes around $70K a month just off of YouTube," Bryce estimated. He then went on to say that Thomas can make about $10,000 for branded TikToks that he does for Bang Energy. "I'm going to guess, just off of that and then an occasional brand deal here and there, he's making like $100K a month, $150K max."
But the exposing didn't end there. Bryce continued, saying that Thomas "along with many other influencers, like to really prove that they're making a sh*t ton of money." He said that because of this, they "spend it like an idiot," buying extremely expensive cars and other flashy items.
"They don't understand that social media, this popping time that they're in, isn't going to last forever," Bryce said. "And right now, when you're at the top, this is when you're going to be making the most money. You just have to find a way to sustain it. They haven't had the awakening yet...Watching them do that, I want to pull my hair out. I'm like, 'Why are these kids so stupid?'"
In the past, when Bryce has tried to come for Thomas, the vlogger has mostly deflected it.
"I have no problems," Thomas said about Bryce and the rest of the Sway House during their last public feud in August. "I literally hope them nothing but the best. I do my thing, I hope that they can learn to do their own thing without talking smack every single day for no reason, but if they can't do that, it's their problem, not mine."
As of now, Thomas has yet to confirm or deny if Bryce's estimates are true.
