Whether you're a fan of pop singer Britney Spears or not, you can't deny that's she one of the most iconic performers of all time. In addition to her dazzling outfits and striking performances, she's resided in some pretty impressive properties over the years, too. Now, Spears's former Los Angeles mansion is on the market for $6.8 million, and yes, it’s just as stunning as you’d expect.
The Los Angeles Times reports that the Oops!... I Did It Again crooner called this six-bedroom mansion home between the years of 2007 to 2012. After filing for divorce from ex-husband Kevin Federline, she moved into this property located at 12094 Summit Circle. The Summit is a high-profile gated community in Beverly Hills.
After going on the market in 2018 for $9 million, the Mediterrian villa-inspired home has returned with a lower listing price and new agents. Josh and Matt Altman of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, from Bravo’s Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, currently hold the listing.
Besides the home's exquisite architecture—which blends elements from both Spanish and Italian design—this home offered Spears an amenity that she needed most after her highly publicized divorce: privacy.
Matt refers to the home as “virtually paparazzi-proof," according to People. "It has gates within a gated community, just to show how important privacy was to Britney Spears," he tells the outlet. "There is no angle or anything that can be seen from any other house or hill. Nothing whatsoever."
While the home was concealed from the public eye for years, we finally got a chance to look inside with this current sale. Enter the lush and secret former home of Britney Spears.
Welcome! Inside this 7,800-square-foot house, you’ll find soaring ceilings, stone floors, and an elegant chandelier-topped foyer.
Feeling hungry? The spacious chef-style kitchen adjoins with the family room and also offers a breakfast nook (not pictured) overlooking the garden.
Waiting for the bathroom will never be a problem in this home. Inside there are six full bathrooms and one half bath.
Sure, the bedrooms might not have flashy neon strobe lights as seen in Spears's "Slumber Party" music video, but they're definitely just as elegant.
Plus, the home also has separate maids' quarters to ensure Spears had her own space.
The best part of the home's design may be that all the lower level rooms open up to the backyard. Peep the lush landscaping and greenery, fire pit, and custom pool and spa.
Not to mention, these home office views are superb.
And for when work is over, these cozy home theater recliners are just begging to be relaxed in.
