The couple first met all the way back in 2016 before getting engaged in 2021, with wedding chat ramping up over the past week as the couple revealed they've finally set a date for the big day! Plus, in more amazing news, the pair also announced they're expecting their first child together back in April.

Who is Britney Spears' fiancé Same Asghari?
28-year-old Sam works as a personal trainer, model and actor, moving to the US from Iran at 12 years old. As a fitness pro, he runs his own brand Asghari Fitness, sharing workout and nutrition content on Instagram, while his personal account boasts over 2.4 million followers.
After starting out as a trainer, Sam transitioned into modelling, which is what led him to meet Britney! He's starred in various music videos (you might recognise him from Fifth Harmony's 'Work From Home'), eventually crossing paths with Britney on the set of the video for her song 'Slumber Party' back in 2016.
From there, he's worked as an actor, landing roles in shows including 'Black Monday', 'Hacks' and 'The Family Business'.
What has Sam said about his relationship with Britney?
After meeting on Britney's music video back in 2016, Sam and Britney have been going strong for almost six years. We often see the pair posing for cute Instagram pics together, while Sam has spoken out numerous times with nothing but praise and support for his fiancée.
Prior to Britney's conservatorship being terminated in November 2021, Sam told People in February of the same year, "I have always wanted nothing but the best for my better half, and will continue to support her following her dreams and creating the future she wants and deserves."
He continued, "I am thankful for all of the love and support she is receiving from her fans all over the world, and I am looking forward to a normal, amazing future together." Sam was also seen wearing a 'Free Britney' t-shirt on his Instagram Story, as well as sharing a very public Insta Stories statement abut Britney's father, Jamie Spears.
The couple shared news of their engagement in September 2021, with Sam sharing a sweet pic of him and Britney kissing while the singer showed off her engagement ring (feat a huge diamond).
As of May 2022, Sam revealed that the date for the wedding "has been set," though he added that "nobody will know until the day after." [via The Independent]. We can't wait to see the couple tie the knot!
In April 2022, the pair went on to announce even more happy news: they're expecting their first child together! Britney shared the update on Instagram while reflecting on her struggles in previous pregnancies - sweetly referring to Sam as her "husband" in the post.
