British Youtuber And Friends Learn Tricks On "Mega" Indoor Airbag

Sam Reynolds

Much like an icy terrain park in skiing, dirt can be an intimidating surface to learn tricks on. For this reason, Riders often opt to try new tricks on airbags.

One compound has the perfect setup to learn tricks. Watch Sam Reynolds tour an Austrian airbag compound below.

In this video, Reynolds and his friends go to Area 47, an indoor jump park. Area 47 has two pump tracks and an airbag lander. An airbag lander is a down-sloped landing with compressed air continuously pumped into it.

This allows riders to land and ride out of tricks but allows room for error if they fall. It is important to note that just because airbags are softer than the ground does not mean they are soft. Falling on one can be quite painful, especially if it is repeated, as it is for Sam's friends here. I guess it's just an incentive to learn tricks quicker!

In the summertime, Area 47 has a bonus. In the hot summer months, there is a water park outside. Talk about a nice way to end the day!
