Brie Larson’s latest Instagram post shows she’s just like other girlfriends everywhere. Even Captain Marvel loves to sneak in a little selfie photo shoot while her boo is getting ready!

“A must: pre-dinner photos while waiting for your partner to finish getting ready!” Brie wrote alongside the photos.

Brie showed off her absolutely killer abs in a stunning two-piece set! Brie’s outfit is black, with little flowers. The top has a plunging neckline, bare abs, and long sleeves. Paired with a matching flowy outfit, Brie is looking stellar!

Her partner, actor and director Elijah Allan-Blitz, makes a cameo in boxers and a blazer in the mirror in one photo as Brie, 32, smiles.

Brie’s celebrity pals were quick to praise her mind-boggling ab strength.“If you taught an abs masterclass. I would take it!!!!” wrote Kerry Washington. Samuel L. Jackson added, “Aberoni😊👊🏾‼️”

As any superhero should, Brie spends a LOT of time at the gym.

Brie does a lot of weighted squats, kettlebell squats, and planks with added weights. She's also known for setting fun and intense workout goals for herself. And can we talk about these one-armed pull-ups? Get it, girl!

Brie showed off her immense core strength in this video where she does pushups with a chain wrapped around her waist.

It’s not all barbells for the Marvel star, though. She recently posted herself doing a pole dancing workout with the caption, “Made an im-POLE-sive decision to try a new workout class.”

To get in Captain Marvel shape, Brie worked with nutritionist Dr. Philip Goglia, who told People that Brie started her mornings off with a teaspoon each of almond butter and all-fruit jam or preserves.

“The most recent science has shown that a little bit of fat and a little bit of simple sugar will actually increase intensity rate while you train early in the morning... and allow you to still continue to train and burn fat,” he said. “That really does start your engine for you.”

Brie typically has a protein shake or eggs for breakfast, as well as a “bridge meal” of fruit before lunch, Dr. Goglia shared with People. Lunch usually consists of chicken and veggies. Brie also drinks three to four liters of water a day. “I think water ought to be a prescriptive thing–it’s just that important,” Dr. Goglia said.
