Lady Whistledown could not say goodbye to this matching season without one last big announcement.

Our favorite mysterious gossip writer sent out on last letter and revealed that Netflix has officially renewed Bridgerton for another season of fun. That's not all. She also dropped some clues as to what we can expect in season two and it's just what we suspected.

"The ton are abuzz with the latest gossip, and so it is my honor to impart to you: Bridgerton shall officially return for a second season. I do hope you have stored a bottle of ratafia for this most delightful occasion," she wrote.

"The incomparable cast of Bridgerton will return to production in the Spring of 2021. This author has been reliably informed that Lord Anthony Bridgerton intends to dominate the social season. I will have my pen ready to report any and all of his romantic activities."

This confirms that the second season will focus on the second novel in the series, The Viscount Who Loved Me.
