We took a quick moment for just the two of us just before all the craziness of the weekend began. We knew we’d soon be swept up in the flurry of it all so it was nice to get to connect and remember why we were here in the first place. I felt like a mermaid in this Alaia sequin two-piece.

Our welcome party was a night swim. Dylan and I are jumping into the surprisingly very chilly water but we didn’t care at all.

Let the fun begin! This was the perfect way to get the party started and set the tone for the weekend.

This is one of my favorite pictures. You can see everyone from my best friends to our nieces and cousins at our favorite place in the world. What could be better? I wish I could jump into this picture and relive it all the time.

The rehearsal dinner of our dreams. Seeing the streamer chandeliers come to life and all the different textures blowing in the wind made it look so surreal and magical.

We sourced all different kinds of giant mushrooms and giant flowers to achieve this eclectic look.

See? I told you I swished around all night. I kept telling everyone who walked into our wild rehearsal dinner “welcome to the inside of my brain.”

The maracas, the bananas, the squiggly frame, and of course, our perfect puppy Taco drawn with flowers in his hair? It’s all too good to be true. Aidan Romick crushed all the graphics all weekend.

Speaking of excelling. Mandy Grace, who did all the florals for every event of the weekend, understood the assignment from day one. I can’t imagine what our wedding would have looked like without her. Because we didn’t want to ship everything back to L.A. everyone got to take all the little accessories home. Now I inevitably see them at all our friends and family’s houses, and it makes me so happy.

I can safely speak for everyone when I say I think we had too much fun at the rehearsal dinner. But by some miracle we were all able to rally and no one was too hungover the next day for the wedding. There must be something in the magical Maui air…

Everyone dressed up in their light-up accessories getting funky. One of my very best friends, Alexa, happily danced the night away after her perfect speech.

Truthfully if I could wear a flower crown, fairy wings, and a rainbow dress every day I would. We danced all night.

I really didn’t want to wear typical bridal PJs or a robe. So here I am, in my hotel robe surprised to find myself as calm as could be and stupidly happy.

This picture thrills me. The juxtaposition of the tropical backdrop with the tulle and stars on my dress. So good.

Here I am probably wondering how long I can stay in my comfy robe.

My guardian angel Chris McMillan gave me the hair of my dreams. He’s too talented for his own good, truly. It’s unfair how incredible he is and I have yet to make peace with the fact that my hair will probably never look this good again.

My dad and I did a first look. I loved this moment with him because no one makes me feel as grounded and makes me laugh harder as he does so he was the perfect person to hang with before the big moment.

My stepmom Liberty Ross gave me a quick pep talk before it was time to go. I intentionally kept all the thorns on my bouquet but I soon realized if it got too close to my dress it would snag the tulle!

The way the aisle reflected the piles of roses growing out of mounds of dirt made the ceremony look so dramatic and beautiful.

I still cry when I watch the videos of my siblings Jamie, Jessica, and Jeremy walking down the aisle and hugging Dylan at the end. My siblings are my best friends, and I’d be nothing without them.

I surprised my dad with an instrumental version of our song “Here Comes My Girl” by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers.

Our rose-lined, mirrored aisle reflected the bluest Maui sky. The ceremony looked over the ocean and neighboring islands of Molokini and Kahoolawe. It felt like we were on the top of the world.

Dylan’s ability to tan is unmatched and it makes me so jealous. That’s all I can see in this picture. But I suppose the gorgeous red roses from our chuppah are remarkable too.

I think this is the one moment in the ceremony we weren’t either laughing or crying. I wish I could relive our ceremony over and over again.

My veil kept blowing violently in the wind. I thought it was going to rip off of my head any second. Luckily, Chris locked it in there so it wouldn’t move. It looks so cool in all the pictures so I’d say it was worth the pain!

The happiness you see on our faces is partially because we just got married but mostly because we were thrilled to finally be done with pictures.

The menu drawn by Aidan Romick offered everything from Spago tuna cones to piping hot chocolate chip cookie skillets. Our vintage sun napkin rings were sourced from over sixty different places. Each one was different and it was my favorite detail from the whole wedding.

I’ve dreamed of doing the hora since bar mitzvah season in seventh grade and I can honestly say it lived up to every expectation.

Our hora was legendary. I think Dylan and his friends should be hired for the hora at every wedding. They get absolutely crazy and are professionals at it—truly.

I can die happy knowing I got to see my dad do the hora. My stepmom Liberty is a natural and they both loved it!
