Sharna Burgess and Brian Austin Green
Brian Austin Green is standing up for his fiancée Sharna Burgess after her absence from Dancing With the Stars' tribute to Len Goodman.
The actor took to Instagram to call out the reality series on Wednesday, Oct. 25—the morning after they honored the late head judge by bringing back a slew of former pros to the studio in his memory.
However, some fan favorites were notably absent, including Burgess.
"I can't begin to tell you how disappointed I was for @sharnaburgess to not be invited for the tribute last night," Green appeared to write using an Instagram Story template, which he then uploaded to his feed.
"It's disappointing as well that none of her 'family in the ballroom' stuck up for her or spoke out. She's an incredible soul and has always been a friend to everyone. She deserved better. #familystickstogether ❤️."
He continued in the caption, "She wasn’t even invited to sit in the stands and watch. Shame on that group of people. Kindness is an action, and so is love ❤️."
He also called out the show for snubbing Cheryl Burke, wrapping up the note by writing, "@cherylburke should have been there as well."
Ahead of the episode, Burke revealed on her Threads account that she "unfortunately...wasn’t invited" after fans asked about her participation in the tribute.
"However, I’ll be there in spirit and can’t wait to cheer my former colleagues on!" she continued. "Sending love and light to everyone. 🤍🙏🏼 #riplen."
Burgess has not directly addressed the snub, but she did repost a video from Burke on her Instagram stories that she called "a beautiful heartfelt share" in which the other dancer took the opportunity to express the influence Goodman had on her life and how much he meant to her.
"Love you and thank you for putting this into words xx," Burgess added. She also reshared a photo of the two women taking a selfie with Goodman, calling him a "legend" who was "loved and missed."
