Celebrity stylist Brad Goreski dresses his Hollywood A-list clients in designer gowns for red carpets, but his favorite fashion secret is just $5.
Goreski, who styles A-listers including Kaley Cuoco, Sarah Hyland and Demi Moore, shared his favorite fall fashion trends with Yahoo Lifestyle, and let us in on a simple hack that can save you time doing laundry and cut down on that dry cleaning bill.
“I’ve been having a lot of fun with my clients, playing around with menswear — a lot of different suiting, especially with Kaley,” Goreski tells Yahoo Lifestyle. “I’m also feeling the 1970s vibe with like a loose flowy dress, a knee-high boot and a chunky knit.”
Goreski adds that he’s a fan of pieces that combine fashion and versatility, especially if you’re going to be layering up during the colder months. “Something like a cool oversized blazer or an LBD are staples you can wear over and over again,” he says.
His secret weapon for re-wearing those sensible pieces in your closet? Febreze Clothing Odor Eliminator.
The $5 spray eliminates odors with just a few spritzes and refreshes those questionable “dirty” clothes in the hamper.
“What’s so great about it is that it gives us the ability to refresh and re-wear our clothes without having to wash them, which is amazing for me and anybody on-the-go that doesn’t necessarily have time to wash their clothes,” Goreski explains. “I fully disclose that I am a person who will dig in my laundry hamper and pull something out and smell it to see if it’s ok!”
It’s perfect for Goreski when he’s on the job, as many garments he dresses his clients in are borrowed from designers — but he swears by it for his own wardrobe too.
“I think denim is the biggest one for me. It’s great for jeans,” Goreski who admits he doesn’t wash his jeans often. “I don’t like to wash them because once I get my jeans to a place where I like the way they fit, I don’t want to risk washing or shrinking them down.”
His favorite thing about the $5 spray isn’t just that it’s easy to use; better yet, you save time and money in between washing and dry cleaning.
“With the Febreze Clothing Odor Eliminator, all you need is three sprays in the front and three in the back,” he explains. “It really refreshes your clothes and you can extend that time between washing or dry cleaning.”
