'Blue Bloods' Star Donnie Wahlberg's Shares Emotional Instagram Post About Season 12

Blue Bloods fans have been immersed in the Reagan family’s grasp of New York City since 2010. Over the past decade, fans have eagerly anticipated the storylines of Frank (Tom Selleck), Danny (Donnie Wahlberg), Erin (Bridget Moynahan), Jamie (Will Estes), and the entire Reagan clan. Now, though, Blue Bloods fans are simply crossing their fingers that the show is renewed for a 13th season — and that includes the actors themselves.

On Friday, April 1, Donnie took to Instagram to reflect on Season 12. “That’s a wrap on #BlueBloods season 12! Makes this #BlueBloods #Friday a little more special. Thanks to all who have supported, and continue to support, me and my TV Family. Enjoy the show tonight, and the next few weeks! Then hopefully, we’re on to season 13 (god willing),” he exclaimed in the caption of a photo of himself in his NYPD detective garb.

While the Blue Bloods cast and fans are still waiting on confirmation from CBS regarding a new season, folks can’t help but celebrate how far the show has come thus far.

While many fans are focused on the potential upcoming season of Blue Bloods, just as many are taking this news as a sign of something equally as exciting: Donnie’s New Kids On The Block Mixtape Tour, which kicks off on May 10 in Cincinnati.
