Bloody eyeliner is as scary as it sounds — and perfect for Halloween

We thought Pennywise would be the scariest Halloween costume, but bloody eyeliner may win as this season’s most frightening makeup trend.

Makeup artists and beauty vloggers have taken using fake blood to new extremes by painting on red winged liner that makes it look as if their faces have been slashed. As if that didn’t already seem realistic, a few pros have even layered liquid latex on their outer lids to mimic the look of open wounds.
