Ana de Armas was glowing last night while stopping by the set of The Late Show With Stephen Colbert to promote her new film, Blonde.

The actress, who plays Marilyn Monroe in the movie, wore a shimmering statement suit to the interview. Her charcoal-colored three-piece suit was covered entirely in sequins and featured brown and gray buttons. She styled the maximalist set with glossy black pointed-toe pumps, various silver rings, a diamond choker necklace, and several diamond earrings (she is an ambassador for the Natural Diamond Council).

For glam, de Armas kept things feminine and classic, opting for a high wavy ponytail, rosy makeup, and a glossy pink lip.

The film Blonde, directed by Andrew Dominik, is based on the novel of the same name by Joyce Carol Oates. It premiered earlier this month at the Venice Film Festival, where it got a 14-minute standing ovation, causing de Armas to break out in tears.

"✨ A night I will never forget. Thank you everyone for your beautiful energy and support. Love! 💖," she wrote on Instagram that night.

At a conference following the premiere, the actress said of Monroe, per Deadline, "I truly believe that she was very close to us, she was with us… She was all I thought about, she was all I dreamed about, she was all I could talk about. She was with me and it was beautiful. I think she was happy… Being in the same places that she was, filming in her house, it was a very strong sensation there was something in the air and I think she was approving of what we were doing."
