ICYMI: Blake Shelton has been testing his talents outside of country music. While the 44-year-old singer continues to create chart-topping singles, most recently, he’s been working on another aspect of his career—executive producing. And just in time for Christmas!

Blake executive produced his first Christmas movie for Hallmark Movies & Mysteries—Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas—back in 2018. Since then, he produced Time for You to Come Home for Christmas in 2019, and now, fans are eagerly awaiting his third film in the sequel, Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas. The film, which stars Lacey Chabert and Stephen Huszar , is set to debut on Saturday, December 5 at 10 p.m.

While we can all assume a happily-ever-after ending to the film, what many fans might not know is that all three movies are not only executively produced by Blake, but inspired by his 2012 song, “Time for Me to Come Home,” which he recorded with his mother, Dorothy Shackleford.

Time for Us to Come Home for Christmas mixes Hallmark’s signature romance with a hint of mystery. The plot follows five guests, all of whom were secretly invited to the same inn. Sarah (played by Lacey) sets out to solve the mystery and discover what connects her and the other guests.

“I particularly love this movie because there is a mystery involved,” Chabert says in a behind-the-scenes video clip from Hallmark. “In the beginning of the story, my character gets this interesting invitation to spend Christmas at an inn. She thinks it’s from her office. Come to find out, it’s not. So the mystery begins.”
