Blake Lively & Ryan Reynolds Make Rare Public Appearance in New York With Newborn Baby Girl
The ultra-private Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds stepped out for breakfast this morning in New York City with their latest addition, a baby girl who remains nameless to the public.
No, seriously. Back in December, TODAY Show hosts Hoda Kotb and Craig Melvin tried their best to get Reynolds to reveal the name of his newest daughter. Their attempts were unsuccessful. Reynolds, joked that he and wife Blake had yet to name the child. "We’re gonna be original, and all the letters in her name are [going to be] silent."

The pics from this morning's outing show Lively looking comfortable in a green winter jacket and black leggings. She used a blanket of sorts to hide the baby from looming paparazzi. This is the first time Blake and Ryan have been seen publicly since the arrival of the child in late 2019.
Blake waited for the perfect occasion to publicly announce her third pregnancy: on the red carpet of hubby Ryan's animated film premiere of Detective Pikachu. (And it's safe to say she nailed it.)
The couple is parents to two other little girls: James, 5, and Inez, 3. Their first official public appearance as a family was not until August 2018 when Reynolds received his star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.
Press and onlookers alike were taken by surprise at the couple's bringing of their children.
"This is one of the rare occasions when we thought we got to bring the whole clan," Reynolds told Extra at the 2018 event. "I’d regret it in 20 years if I didn’t.”
Similar to her late-ish reveal of the third pregnancy, Blake waited to present her pregnancy with firstborn James until her second trimester. She and Ryan opted to use the now non-existent Preserve lifestyle website to make their news public.
Her second pregnancy remained more elusive. The child's name was leaked through a magazine source and later confirmed to be true.
It's certain that a third child will add additional challenges to their already busy lives, but these two remain committed to their family above any film schedule. Ryan told PEOPLE that they never do movies at the same time.
"If she is doing a movie in Thailand and I am doing a movie in Vancouver we would just never see each other," Reynolds said. "We operate as a unit, and that works really well for us."
It appears there are no nannies present in the Reynolds family. The kids travel with their parents and the family stays together. "So if we are in Spain or Utah or New York, as long as we are together, we're home."
