Black Panther: Wakanda Forever star Tenoch Huerta has trolled Marvel fans by 'leaking' an image of himself in action in the upcoming movie.

Huerta has been rumored to be playing aquatic villain Namor, who is basically the Marvel equivalent of Aquaman, though he predates the DC hero by two years.

After pictures claiming to be leaked Marvel merchandise of Huerta as Namor surfaced, the Narcos: Mexico actor decided to mess with fans by posting a picture of SpongeBob Squarepants character Mermaid Man on Twitter, along with the caption: "Tenoch images are leaked..."

Despite the star remaining tight-lipped, we know that Huerta will be playing a villain and that the movie will feature Namor, so it's looking pretty likely that the two will align.

Plot details about Wakanda Forever were released last year, teasing a clash between Wakanda and Atlantis over the former's access to vibranium.

"Both Wakanda and Atlantis are hidden civilizations with advanced technology and increased militaristic abilities that decided to separate themselves from the rest of the world for their own safety, and in a way, out of fear," began the synopsis.

"Wakanda feared that their technology would be abused. Atlantis feared that surface dwellers would come and desecrate the mythical city just as they did so many years ago. And yet their fears escalate even further when these two once-hidden nations clash with each other. Wakanda and Atlantis have a shockingly intertwined history.

"Wakanda is the only country in the world with access to vibranium. However, rumors of its power spread throughout the world, and Namor's human father was sent searching for this rare material in Antarctica..."
