  • Doritos released a viral Super Bowl commercial starring Sam Elliott and Lil Nas X.

  • Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus also appeared in the ad, but most people didn't notice.

The Kansas City Chiefs may have taken home the trophy on Sunday night, but Doritos's viral ad was the real winner of the Super Bowl.

In just 90 seconds, the flavored tortilla chip brand recreated a Wild West showdown with a hilarious modern-day twist. Rather than demonstrate their quick-draw skills, rising rapper Lil Nas X and Sam Elliott faced off in an epic dance battle that had local townsfolk running for cover. It took place at the "Cool Ranch," which is a clever play on one of Doritos's most popular chip varieties.

Every element of the Super Bowl ad was perfect, from Lil Nas X's bedazzled outfit to Sam's dancing mustache. Naturally, the entire thing was set to Grammy-winning hit "Old Town Road" and ended with Lil Nas X winning the dance battle as he blasted the song on his speaker-clad horse.

But there was one major detail that everyone missed: Country star Billy Ray Cyrus appeared in the commercial, too.

The 58-year-old singer famously collaborated with Lil Nas X on a remixed version of "Old Town Road" after the song was initially removed from Billboard's country chart. The duo has been celebrating the success of their record-breaking single ever since, so it's no surprise that Billy Ray had a cameo in the Doritos ad.

He first shows up at the 11-second mark, when Lil Nas X rides into town and tips his hat to the guitar-playing cowboy on the porch. The moment was so quick that no one even noticed it was Billy Ray.

After beating Sam in the showdown, Lil Nas X asks "who got next?" Apparently, Billy Ray knows better than to step up to the young rapper, because he says he "ain't dancing."

Have you seen that kid's moves? We wouldn't want to battle him either!
