After more than a year together Billie Eilish and boyfriend Matthew Taylor Vorce have split, he confirmed earlier this week. While rumours of the split have been swirling for a little while, so too have claims that cheating on his part was the cause of the break up. Well, now Vorce has taken to Instagram to respond to the accusations.

The pair were first rumoured to have got together in early 2021, and were spotted together for the first time in April of that year, looking pretty comfortably loved-up while out grabbing coffee. Over the past year the couple have kept their relationship fairly private, with neither of them posting on social media about each other.

However, more than a year on and rumours about a split between then pair began swirling on social media, along with rumours that he had cheated on her, thus causing their breakup. Well, it seems that after some weeks of watching these claims build the actor had finally had enough, and took to his Instagram Stories to address the rumours.

Confirming their split, but denying the cheating allegations Vorce wrote, "Nobody cheated on anyone. Relationships end. Simple as that. Creating rumours and LYING on the internet is dangerous."

He also called out people on social media who had spread the cheating rumours, saying that posting rumours about someone they don't know was "cowardly."

"The fact that thousands of people take time out of their day to write the most heinous things on someone they will never knows posts [sic] is the most cowardly thing you can possibly do. Live your own life."
