Bored of your playlists or need a change-up from the pop stars that saturate our feeds? I've got just the thing for you. Here, I've rounded up a bunch of smaller artists that in my humble opinion, deserve just as much love. Enjoy!
1. If you like Taylor Swift, listen to Caity Krone Jmenternational / JMEnternational for BRIT Awards / Getty Images
...listen to Caity Krone. We all know T.Swift for her whimsical lyrics and impressive bridges but have you heard of Caity Krone ? The enchanting singer/songwriter composes impressive cry-inducing songs such as Hotel On A Mountain and Thank You For The Sunday Paper . Give her a listen and prepare to be impressed. (and before anyone says anything, I would add Olivia Rodrigo to the TS comparison but she's a pretty big artist nowadays)

...listen to Caroline Polachek. 6. If you like Billie Eilish... Jim Dyson / Redferns / Via Getty
...listen to Zella Day. Both artists have wispy moody tones and soft yet powerful voices. While Zella Day could remind some of Lana Del Rey, I'm putting her with Billie because as one of my friends puts it, their vibes are the same. Zella's Only A Dream feels similar to Billie's When The Party's Over .

...listen to Conan Gray. 8. If you like Wallows... Erika Goldring / Getty Images
...listen to Peach Pit. 9. If you like Phoebe Bridgers... Kevin Mazur / Getty Images for The Recording Academy
...listen to Jensen McRae. 10. If you like Maggie Rogers... Kirstin Sinclair / Getty Images
...listen to Ryann. Ryann's songs like JFK, Andrew , and One Minute have a similar buildup to those iconic Maggie Rogers songs we all love. Plus, both of their voices transport you to a cozy, soft meadow on a cloudless blue day. Don't forget to pack a cute picnic before you press play on Andrew .

...listen to Sampha. Soulful and piano-driven, everyone knows Alicia Keys but lesser-known Sampha also deserves praise.

...listen to Fruit Bats. According to my good friend's boyfriend, both lead singers' voices sound exactly the same, which is kind of amazing. With similar feels, both are quirky and smooth with catchy tunes that get stuck in your head. Check out The Balcony by the Fruit Bats to see what I mean.
Suzi Pratt / FilmMagic 13. If you like Love You Later... ...listen to Georgia Greene. 14. If you like Ed Sheeran... I didn't see it at first, but a friend compared Rex Orange County with Ed Sheeran and I went hmmm . Rex Orange County is decidedly more upbeat, but they're both masterful songwriters that can carry a tune. Sunflower by Rex reminds me of Barcelona by Ed. If that makes sense. It's okay if it doesn't.

17. ...listen to The Virgins. It's Rich Girls vs Girls for these two bands. While both bands are in their own lane, they also have an interchangeable poppy, quirky beat to their songs. Though, The Virgins do enunciate better (in my opinion).
Brian Ach / WireImage 18. If you like Tame Impala... Both groups give us endless jams. Roll the windows down and head to the beach ASAP. With swirling instrumentals (like on MYTH ) and more evident sadness, Beach House is just as sonically pleasing. The sub pop duo gets it.
Matt Jelonek / WireImage 19. ...listen to Beach House. Now, I know I've probably missed many great artists but this is just a small sampling. What lesser-known (but just as talented) artists do you love? LMK so we can go on a musical discovery journey together. View comments
