Ever since Verishop hung out its shingle last year, the online retailer has wowed us with a just-right mix of wearable duds from an impressive lineup of high-low brands; from in-house lines like LETT and Billie the Label to of-the-moment swimwear labels like Solid and Striped and eye-poppingly gorgeous frock makers like Saloni to LoveShackFancy and Petersyn. So, when we caught wind of its current Warehouse Sale with up to 80% off the above-mentioned assortment, we clicked through to take stock. Taking a third, fourth, and fifth look, we rustled up a host of steals that we’ll wear now and well through the fall. We also watched inventory dwindle precipitously right before our eyes, so you better hop to it if you see something ahead that catches your eye — the good stuff won’t stick around for veri long. (Sorry, had to.) At Refinery29, we’re here to help you navigate this overwhelming world of stuff. All of our market picks are independently selected and curated by the editorial team. I wasn't surprised to learn that Taylor Swift's cardigan collection is well . . . just so Taylor! The singer, who recently released her surprise album Folklore right when we needed it the most, even has a song in the album called "Cardigan" which inspired my deep dive into Tay's wardrobe. While her style usually changes with the release of each album - her Reputation era was filled with dark colors and thigh-high boots, while her Lover era was full of technicolor outfits - her at-home style is pretty consistent and often includes delicate cardigans. Now, the singer has shifted into a dreamy boho phase for Folklore, and her cardigan collection fits right into the album's vibe. She even sent out actual cardigans to her celebrity friends like Kaia Gerber, Gigi Hadid, and more to celebrate the release of the album. While taking a look back at her outfits over the years, you'll notice that Tay's cardigan collection is pretty robust when it comes to the various styles she owns. She has everything from a simple white knit piece to a bright marigold one, which she styled over a floral dress. Read on to take a look at Taylor's cardigan collection to get inspired ahead. Even if you haven't watched Pose yet (and what are you waiting for?!), you probably already know that Billy Porter's costumes on the show are iconic. The hit FX drama, which is produced by Ryan Murphy, is groundbreaking because it's about LGBTQ+ New York City ballroom culture in the late '80s and early '90s. When the show first premiered in 2018, it made history as the scripted series with the most transgender actors appearing as series regulars ever. Billy Porter is one of the many standout stars who has caught our attention, thanks to his portrayal of Pray Tell. He became the first openly gay Black man to win an Emmy for outstanding lead actor in a drama series for his role in 2019, and also won the world over with his flashy outfits on the show. Costume designers Lou Eyrich and Analucia McGorty were in charge of bringing Billy's larger than life character to the screen. To capture Pray Tell's essence, the costume designers chose pieces that helped cement Billy's place as a fashion icon both on and off the show. In an interview with Los Angeles Times, Eyrich and McGorty revealed how they nailed Billy's looks. "We get clothes from vintage stores and secondhand places and revise them. Maybe we'd have things from the '70s, which is authentic to what the dancers used, which is to find stuff at the Salvation Army and remake it as something on-trend and stylish," they stated. From embellished button-downs paired with printed pants to chic silk robes worn over striped blouses, the duo certainly nailed Pray Tell's outfits on the show. Read on to see some of our favorite looks ahead. Related: Dear Hollywood, the Trans Women of Pose Deserve Your Recognition
