Beyoncé is expressing her gratitude to fans after her newest album was leaked days before its official release date.

Posting a handwritten, heartfelt note to Instagram, the global phenomenon, who dropped Renaissance today, acknowledged the leak for the first time and thanked her fans for their loyalty.

"So, the album leaked, and you all actually waited until the proper release time so you all can enjoy it together. I've never seen anything like it," she wrote. "I can't thank y'all enough for your love and protection. I appreciate you for calling out anyone that was trying to sneak into the club early. It means the world to me. Thank you for your unwavering support. Thank you for being patient. We are going to take our time and enjoy the music. I will continue to give my all and do my best to bring you joy."

She ended the message with, "I love you deep."

Renaissance marks the Grammy-winning singer's foray into house music, as indicated by the first single off the album, "Break My Soul."

She previously hinted at the album's title in an interview for Harper's BAZAAR's September 2021 cover story.

"With all the isolation and injustice over the past year, I think we are all ready to escape, travel, love, and laugh again. I feel a renaissance emerging, and I want to be part of nurturing that escape in any way possible," she said at the time. "I've been in the studio for a year and a half. Sometimes it takes a year for me to personally search through thousands of sounds to find just the right kick or snare. One chorus can have up to 200 stacked harmonies. Still, there's nothing like the amount of love, passion, and healing that I feel in the recording studio. After 31 years, it feels just as exciting as it did when I was nine years old. Yes, the music is coming!"
