Beyoncé Has Tested Negative for Coronavirus, According to Her Mom

Great news, Beyoncé fans. According to the singer's mother, Tina Knowles Lawson, Beyoncé has taken a COVID-19 test and does not have coronavirus.

Knowles Lawson revealed the news during an appearance on Tamron Hall this week. Beyoncé's mom explained, "We all got tested." She continued, "We've gotten the results back and everybody is okay, and so I hope we can get together this Mother's Day and have dinner together—and I can actually touch them for real."

Knowles Lawson also revealed that she's been feeling particularly "sad" on the weekends, as that's usually the time she gets to see her grandchildren. As she told the host, "So on Sunday mornings, I got the blues."

Beyoncé and Knowles Lawson have been working together during the pandemic to encourage people in Houston to get tested for COVID-19. According to People, the pair is launching the #IDIDMYPART campaign this Mother's Day, to promote coronavirus testing as a way of stopping the spread of the infection.

And that's not all. The superstar also donated $6 million via her BeyGOOD initiative, offering support to essential services like food banks in cities all across the United States.
