Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour Has Begun, and the Looks Are Everything

Did we expect anything less? Though Beyoncé Giselle Knowles-Carter continues to gate-keep the Renaissance era visuals (where are the videos, mama?), now that her tour has started, we can see the costumes for her show—and they are obviously stunning.

She truly looks like an alien princess who beamed herself down from the moon to spread a message of peace and love, but also she's our new ruler, so bow down, bitches. I'm not mad about it. I happily swear fealty to whatever this is.

It's Beyoncé's world and we are just living in it! Amen.

Up close, her custom Alexander McQueen body suit is even more spectacular, made up of what looks like thousands of beads and rhinestones. There's something Barbarella about it, and it's also giving Ziggy Stardust. I could look at her face all day, and maybe I will!

On Instagram and Twitter, lucky attendees who caught the first night of the tour in Stockholm revealed clips of the set, including these videos in which she wears another space-age bodysuit and thigh-high boots.

Also…if you swipe to the second video…am I hallucinating or does the word cunt flash in white letters when she hits the bottom of her squat?

Another video shows a few different words projected above her during “Cozy,” but it's hard to make out. See for yourself!

Then there's this holographic ensemble, worthy of Zenon herself:

If you think I'm reading too much into the space theme, you're wrong, actually, because there are other visuals from the tour that show her in front of the words “Alien Superstar,” which happens to be the title of a song from her most recent album, so, actually.

If you need a new sound to program your alarm clock, I recommend this clip of her belting “Dangerously in Love.” I'm up! I'm awake!

Also, the horse made an appearance, and apparently her name is Reneigh.

Friends, I LOL'd.
