According to Well and Good, while at a L'Oréal Paris launch event in 2019, the makeup artist to the stars revealed that the brand's Signature Lightweight Matte Colored Ink is the "best he's ever had" in his kit, and his A-list client agrees. Currently, it retails for $8.98 on Amazon.

"When I know I'm not going to see my client again, and I know there's going to be no touch-up and they're going to put something on and go, this is my jam," he told a group of beauty editors at the event. "I know when it hits the carpet, I know if she eats — I know it's not going to dry, it's not going to get crusty and she's going to feel good."

The well-known makeup guru went on to mention that he actually used the product on Beyoncé in the pink-y brown shade "I Create" at the 2019 GLAAD Media Awards where she was honored with the Vanguard Award.

The affordable drugstore find is also a favorite among everyday cosmetics shoppers, with one sharing that it "lasts several hours through drinking and meals without completely disappearing." Another added that the product applies "like water, but smoother," and has a "very natural" look that "doesn't look weird as it wears off."

If you aspire to get a beat similar to Queen Bey's, here's the perfect start to achieving one of her signature looks.
