Icon and national treasure Betty White is turning 99 this coming weekend and though COVID-19 seems to have derailed her plans a bit (join the club, my friend!), she still has a pretty pleasant-sounding day planned.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, she explained that she'll be spending her birthday (which is Sunday, BTW!) with some feathered friends as well as working: "You probably didn't ask, but I’ll tell you anyway," she said. "What am I doing for my birthday? Running a mile each morning has been curtailed by COVID, so I am working on getting The Pet Set re-released."

The Pet Set, for those who may not know, is a series Betty hosted 50 years ago that will be re-released on streaming services and DVD next month. True to the name of the show, as well as her love of all animals, she'll also be "feeding the two ducks who come to visit me every day" on her birthday.

Though that sounds perfectly lovely, we hope her friends and family will still treat her in a socially distanced way to some of her favorite things, which include hot dogs, vodka, cake, and poker (coincidentally, some of our favorites too!). Around her 96th birthday, Betty credited vodka and hot dogs "probably in that order" with living a long and happy life, during an interview with Parade Magazine.

For her 97th birthday, Betty had a poker night with close friends which also included cake, of course! No word on if the ducks will play poker with her this year, but here's hoping someone delivers her a Coney dog, a cold martini, and a big slice of her favorite cake. HBD, Betty!!!
